Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Josue and Laura are missionaries serving their local church in a small town called Bahia de Kino in the state of Sonora. Josue grew up as one of the pastor’s kid, while his parents were planting the church, Templo Calvario (Calvary Chapel), in Bahia de Kino. At fourteen, he decided to surrender his life to Christ. Three years later, he felt called to go Calvary Chapel Bible College to study the Word of God. It was there that God confirmed the calling on his life to be in ministry. He is currently the main Worship Leader and over both the Sound Ministry and the Men’s Bible Study.

Laura is from Houston, Texas. At the age of fifteen, she felt called to do foreign missions. After graduating high school, she served in a Calvary Chapel in Guatemala for six months, and through a series of God-ordained events, was introduced to Calvary Chapel Bible College Mexico located in Ensenada, where she would meet Josue. Laura serves as the Secretary of the church, one of the translators for Sunday Service, and assists in the Children’s Ministry, Worship Team, and Girl’s Discipleship Group. Josue and Laura were married in 2019 and continue to serve in Bahia de Kino. They desire to see men and women grow in their knowledge of the Word of God and depth in their relationship with Him. One of the other projects that they feel God has placed on their hearts is to produce a Spanish Worship Music album, all the songs being written and composed by Josue.
